We have babies being slaughtered, soldiers being killed, forced prostitution (read: sex slavery) of children and yet there is a need by some people to focus most, if not all, of their attention on trees?
Very odd.
I know! It makes me so sad that all these people (not just the tree-huggers, all of those unenlightened people out there) are so clueless. And it’s not just that they’re unenlightened, they are willfully so, and won’t listen to reason. But, as the quote says, ‘You can’t fix stupid’
That’s why it’s important for us to always be prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you (1 Peter 3:15). When we get the opportunity to talk to people like this (or others who appear to believe off-the-wall things) we need to be able to interact with them in a way that makes them rethink their belief system.
